Convert Avro to TSV Online
Use our free online tool to convert your Apache Avro data to Tab Separated Values quickly
Apache Avro
Apache Avro is a row-based data serialization format designed to support efficient data encoding and compression. Avro stores data in a compact binary format, which makes it efficient for both storage and transmission. Every Avro file includes a schema that describes the structure of the data stored within it. Avro supports a range of complex data types, including nested records, arrays, and maps. Avro also supports schema evolution, allowing the schema of a dataset to change over time (adding new fields, for example) while maintaining backward compatibility with the older version of the schema.
Tab Separated Values
A Tab Separated Values (TSV) file is a simple text format for storing data in a tabular structure. Each row in the table is represented by a line of text in the file. Within each row, columns of data are separated by tabs. This format is useful for moving data between programs or systems that handle tabular data, such as spreadsheets and databases. TSV files are easy to read and write by both humans and machines. They are especially useful when handling data that contains special characters or commas since the tab character is less likely to appear in field data than commas.
