Which receipt formats and layouts are supported?
The parser handles printed register receipts, restaurant bills, taxi slips, retail invoices, and hotel folios. It parses the document text directly rather than matching static merchant templates, ensuring reliable line-item extraction across any layout.
Can I upload photos directly from a smartphone?
Yes. You can upload receipts in JPEG, PNG, or WebP formats. Because iOS devices capture photos in HEIC format by default, select Most Compatible in Camera Formats to save as JPEG, or take a screenshot of the photo to upload directly.
Can I consolidate multiple receipts into a single file?
Yes. Extract receipts individually and save each one as a workspace dataset. Then, use the Merge Data tool to consolidate them into a unified table. Standardizing column headers like Item beforehand ensures rows align automatically.
Can I extract digital PDF receipts from email confirmations?
Yes. Select PDF as the source format. The parser extracts line items, taxes, and totals from digital PDF receipts using the exact same workflow as image uploads.
